Welcome to Good News Choir
Where children's voices are nurtured in faith and song. All children in grades K-8 are invited to join our choir family. You do not need to be a member of New Covenant Church to participate—we welcome all children who love to sing and want to grow in his or her musical abilities.
Open to All Children

Meet Your Director
Pam Whittles has years of experience teaching music and leading choirs in Illinois schools at the elementary and high school levels, and in local churches. She has an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, Wheaton; a BA in Music Education from North Central College, Naperville; is a master Orff-Schulwerk Teacher, Memphis University,
Memphis, TN; and has completed the Kodaly Levels through West Minster Choir College, Princeton, NJ.
Her passion lies in teaching children the joy of singing while providing them with a solid foundation in musical skills. Pam believes that music education should be both educational and enjoyable, creating an environment where children can grow musically while having fun.
Under her guidance, choir members develop their vocal abilities, learn proper choral techniques, and gain confidence through performance opportunities. She loves working with children and is dedicated to helping each child discover his or her unique musical voice.

What to Expect:
