To make our monthly time of Communion happen, the Communion Team
needs volunteers to help once a month to prepare the Communion Elements and
clean up afterwards.
The Compassion Ministry, under the supervision of the Deacons,
provides temporary practical care in the form of household
chores, errands, and meals.
The Deacons oversee
ministries that help fulfill NCC’s vision of seeing “love extended to the
church.” Those ministries depend on the participation of members of the
congregation as they show care for one another.
Fellowship Time Team
Every Sunday after the worship service, our church gathers to enjoy community over coffee and light snacks. We need several volunteers to serve on a monthly rotating schedule throughout the year, with 2-8 volunteers serving each Sunday. You can sign up below. For more information contact the office.
Ushers & Greeters
NCC relies on this essential team to serve 1-2 times per month. Greeters help us to warmly welcome our guests, and ushers help the Sunday morning
service to flow smoothly. Please consider joining this team.
The Children’s Choir
gives grade-school children an opportunity to employ their God-given gifts and
love of music in a leadership role for our Sunday morning worship. Through
special programs and dramas, Children’s Choir also serves as an outreach to the
community. Parent helpers are also needed to help with Sunday morning robing
and special rehearsals and productions.
The Adult Choir
participates in our Sunday morning services nearly every week during the school
year, providing anthems and leading the congregation in singing. The choir
rehearses each Sunday morning at 9:00 in the sanctuary.
Musicians participate in Sunday morning
services on a rotational basis. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the
