Why We Need Lent

To fully experience the glory of Easter, we must first walk through the desert of Lent. That is why NCC has made Lent a special emphasis this month in the weeks leading up to Resurrection Sunday. In a recent Sunday school class, the church preempted our regularly scheduled teaching on the Apostles' Creed to highlight the meaning and importance of Lent for the Christian life and how we plan to observe it as Christ's body.
