Pastor Chris Castaldo

Even as followers of Jesus, we can feel the weight of invisible chains—destructive habits we can’t shake, legalism that drains our hope, a bondage that quietly steals the joy Christ won for us. But the gospel tells a different story. In our new series, “Free Indeed,” we’ll journey through Paul’s letter to the Galatians and discover how Christ has shattered our shackles. Together we’ll learn to stand firm in the truth that “for freedom Christ has set us free” (Gal. 5:1) and step into the wide-open life of grace God has called us to live. Join us and experience the wonder of walking as liberated people of God.

This Sunday, Pastor Chris will continue our series with a sermon titled "Becoming Who You Are in Christ" from Galatians 3:23-29.

Youth Group Food Drive

Join us in blessing our neighbors at Wayside Cross through a food drive!

Gospel Conversations

Join us in Fellowship Hall at 9:00 AM on November 9, 16, and 23 for Gospel Conversations. This is a three-week Sunday school class and workshop to give us some basic encouragement and tools to begin to do evangelism in our spheres of influence, leaving the results up to God but expecting Him to work through our imperfect efforts.

The basic approach is to trust that the Lord cares about our friends even more than we do and in fact is already working in their lives. It is our task simply to come alongside Him in His workplace. Gospel Conversations will equip us to:

  • Understand and share the gospel;
  • Share our testimonies; and
  • Become bolder and more comfortable in speaking about Jesus.

Coffee and Cannoli with the Pastors

Our heart for the youth group is all about belonging. We want every single young person to know and experience that in the Church they can be loved, be cared for, and belong. We can't wait to build our community together!

Youth Sunday School

A fundamental question woven through the book of Samuel is who is the real king of Israel. After the failures of Eli's and Samuel's sons, the people ask for a king, which God interprets as a rejection of his kingship. Saul fails in large part because of his lack of obedience to God, the true king. David has a mixed record but succeeds, if you will, to the degree that he trusts in God. But even he is not the true king of Israel.

Ages 6th grade through High School - 9:00 AM in the Parlor.

After Service Fellowship

Join us after the service for a fresh brewed cup of coffee, a treat . . . or two, and a time to relax, discuss the service, and fellowship with friends - old and new.

Prayer in the Parlor

Join us in the Parlor for a pre-service prayer meeting for our church, our community, and the world. All are welcome to join.

We will begin at 10:05 and wrap up around 10:25.

Adult Sunday School: In Search of the True King

Beginning September 7th.
