As the ancient Israelites of Joshua's day faced daunting obstacles and moments of uncertainty entering the Promised Land, they found God's empowering presence guiding and sustaining them. The same divine presence empowers God's people today, evoking our trust, courage, and devotion. As we enter the new year, please join us in studying the book of Joshua, where we find a timeless invitation to move forward in faith, regardless of our obstacles and challenges.
Ages 4-5th grade. The class is held in room 103 (the WOW room) at 9:00.
We will be looking into the Gospel according to Matthew. Our plan is to use the COMA method for the study: C is for what is the context of the passage, O is for what are the observations of the text being studied, M is for what is the meaning, and then A is for what is/are some applications of the passage at hand.
We meet Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM.
Sunday mornings we will work through the gospel of John together, paying attention to the ways our Triune God unfolds his plan of salvation in the Son being sent, empowered by the Spirit to bring sinners back to communion with the Father!
