After being hospitalized for seven weeks, Ockert Labuschagne’s sister, Connie, passed away on Wednesday night. Please be in prayer for his sister's family and his brother during this time of grief. Also, please ask the Lord for travel mercies, as Ockert plans to attend her funeral in South Africa.

Pray for Pastor Daniel as he preaches the sermon this coming Sunday from Isaiah 55. Ask God to give Daniel extra strength and wisdom as he assumes more responsibilities during the sabbatical for Pastor Chris. We thank God for both of these men.

Ask the Lord to apply to our hearts and daily living the hope of the resurrection and the world to come, which we considered in the sermon by Pastor Chris, “The End of the World as We Know It,” from Daniel 12:1-4.

Beginning on May 12, we will be partnering with Caring Network for its annual Baby Bottle Drive. During the Sunday morning service, our friend Tracy Kerr will be sharing about this amazing ministry. Pray for hearts in our community to be drawn to the dignity and worth of every human life, born and unborn. Bottles need to be returned by June 16.

Our next Coffee and Cannoli with the Pastors is scheduled for Sunday, May 19. Pray for Pastor Daniel as he meets with newcomers.

Pray for our Apostles’ Creed Sunday School Class to finish strong, with both instructors and students built up in their faith.
